PropellerAds started the process of integration with trackers via API. One of the first and the most successful examples is LandingTrack that can be setup in 2 different ways – as a regular tracker and via API. In order to get the instructions about the API integration please follow the manual: PropellerAds & LandingTrack. Start automating your Campaigns.

We’ll provide you the detailed guide about the PropellerAds integration as a custom traffic source:

Log in to your PropellerAds Advertiser Account, click the Tracking tab and

select LandingTrack as a tracker you work with:

The system will provide the postback with parameters used in your tracker:

Step #2 - Add PropellerAds as your traffic source in LandingTrack

Log in to your LandingTrack account, choose the Traffic sources tab, then click “Connect New Source” and select “Custom”.

Name you Traffic source and click "Create". Then click "Edit" in order to setup the tracking process. Add a postback you received in your PropellerAds account (Step #1) to the section "Outgoing Postback". You don't need to change visitor_id and payout parameters, they are already replaced by tokens used in LandingTrack.

Make sure you work with actual postback generated in your PropellerAds account with unique aid and tid parameters, otherwise your conversions will not be tracked correctly!

You can also select optional tokens that will be added to your Campaign URL.
The list of these tokens includes default parameters, such as:

source={zone_id} — ID of the ad zone where the ad is displayed
bid={cost} — Cost of click or impression.
pid=${SUBID} — Unique ID for tracking conversions

and a few custom parameters (d1-d9) that shoud be setup manually.

Once you add the info to all required fields, click "Save" button in order to finish the integration of PropellerAds as a new traffic source in LandingTrack.

Step #3 - Generate a postback URL in LandingTrack

To pass the information about conversions or leads to LandingTrack, you should get a postback and add it to the affiliate network's panel. You will find your LandingTrack Postback (S2S) in the Settings tab.

First of all, create new domain In the Domains tab of the Settings section. Copy domain's name and change {domain} part in a postback URL to yours. The final postback can look like this:
http://your_domain_name.com/postback.php?sid={clickid}&payout={payout}

Don't forget to pass this postback to the affiliate network.

Please refer to LandingTrack Knowledge Base to find out how to link affiliate networks and offers to your tracker.

Step #4 - Setup the Campaign in LandingTrack

LandingTrack invented their own concept of campaigns and named the Campaign section as 'Dimension'; each user can create Dimension with a few offers or prelanders and the algorithm will rotate offers on Ecpm, real-time.

You can create campaigns in Dimensions section or Offers section in the LandingTrack admin panel.

Please follow the steps in the manual below:
Creating a Dimension

Once you created a dimension and setup its configuration, you can get your Campaign URL. To do that, you should complete 3 steps:

  • Select PropellerAds as your traffic source

  • Select your Domain

  • Select the type of Traffic

After filling in the appropriate fields, LandingTrack will generate Dimension name and Campaign URL required to direct traffic to.

Step #5 - Setup a Campaign in PropellerAds

Login to your PropellerAds account, click Campaigns tab and "Create Campaign" button.
Use the Campaign URL received from your LandingTrack account as the Target URL in your campaign settings. It should contain pid=${SUBID}.

Once all relevant fields and targeting options are completed, click the "Start Campaign" button.
